  • 2 boxes of strawberry-flavored Jell-O gelatin
  • 1 container Cool Whip
  • 1/2 pint strawberries, washed and sliced
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water


  1. Empty the contents of the Jell-O boxes into a large bowl and stir in 2 cups boiling water; stir until well dissolved.
  2. Add 2 cups cold water; mix well.
  3. Pour half of this mixture into a 9×13-inch glass or metal pan. Put the strawberries in this mix. Put in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  4. 5 minutes before taking the Jell-O out of the fridge, empty the contents of the Cool Whip tub into the remaining Jell-O mixture. Whisk until smooth and evenly mixed.
  5. Spread on top of the first mixture in the pan. Cool for 4 hours or overnight and enjoy.
