Ingredients:

  • 2-14.5 oz. cans of Pork ‘n’ beans
  • 3/4 to 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 1/2 c. bell pepper
  • mustard
  • ketchup
  • 2-3 bacon slices

Directions:

  1. Add a small amount of oil to an iron skillet. Saute onion and bell pepper. Add ground beef. Brown and crumble beef. Drain.
  2. Add beans, mustard, and ketchup to skillet with beef. Stir well. Top skillet with 2-3 slices of bacon.
  3. Bake beans at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
