No party spread is complete without a bowl of creamy, zesty guac—and this traditional version keeps it simple and seriously snackable. With just a few fresh ingredients and a fork, you’ve got a crowd-pleasing dip that’s perfect for chips, tacos, or straight-up spoonfuls (we don’t judge).

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 JalapeƱo, minced (seeds removed)
  • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons lime juice (juice of one lime)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • salt to taste

Directions:

Halve each avocado. Remove pit and scoop out the flesh. In a medium bowl, gently mash the avocados. Add jalapeƱo, cilantro lime juice, garlic, and cumin. Add salt to taste.

Makes 3 cups.
