Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lavender leaves (fresh is best but dried works too)
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups fresh lemon juice (the juice of about 12 lemons)
- Titos Vodka (or your preferred Vodka)
- Seltzer water
Directions:
- Make Lavender Simple Syrup: Add sugar to a bowl. Mash the lavender leaves into the sugar with the back of a spoon. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then pour water over sugar and stir to combine. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Make Lemonade: Strain syrup into a large glass pitcher. Add 2 cups of water and the lemon juice to the pitcher. Mix well. Chill for at least 2 hours.
- Make Lavender Lemonade Mocktail: Fill a tall glass with ice. Fill the glass with lavender lemonade and top with seltzer. Garnish with lavender sprig and a slice of lemon.
- Make Lavender Lemonade Cocktail: Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour 2 ounces of vodka over ice. Fill with lavender lemonade and top with seltzer water. Garnish with lavender sprig and slice of lemon.
