Ingredients:

  • 1-46oz. can of unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 pkgs. of lemonade Kool-Aid
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Liter Sprite
  • Water

Directions:

  1. In a one-gallon container, mix juice, Kool-Aid, and sugar.  Top with enough water to fill to one gallon.
  2. Mix well and chill.
  3. Just before serving, mix again since the pineapple juice will have settled to the bottom.
  4. If mixing in a punch bowl, add Sprite to the punch bowl, then add the pineapple mixture.
  5. Garnish with fresh pineapple, cherries, and mint adds a nice touch.

Other ideas:

  1. Feel free to use a different flavor of Kool-Aid based on the color you want your punch to be.
  2. An ice ring makes for a striking presentation in the punch bowl.  To make an ice ring, you can use an ice-ring mold or a bundt pan.  Simply fill the mold or pan halfway with assorted fruits (such as lemon slices, lime slices, orange slices, strawberries, cherries, grapes, or mint). Cover with water.  Freeze overnight.  To release the ice ring, fill the sink with hot water, and place the mold in water for a few seconds until loosened.
