Ingredients:
- 2 15 oz. cans of refried beans, fat free or regular
- 1 pkg Taco Seasoning
- 16 oz. container sour cream, regular or fat free
- shredded lettuce
- shredded cheese, cheddar, colby jack
- tomatoes , diced
- pickled jalapenos
- sliced black olives
Directions:
- Mix beans and taco seasoning.
- Spread bean mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 dish (or other decorative dish).
- Top with sour cream; add lettuce, then cheese.
- Top with remaining ingredients.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Variations:
- Substitute 1 lb. browned ground beef for beans
- Use only 1 can of beans for an 8×8 dish
- Add guacamole
- Instead of mixing the taco seasoning with the beans, mix it with the sour cream
- Instead of preparing one large dish, prepare smaller portions in margarita glasses
