Ingredients:

  • 2-10 oz. pkg. frozen green peas
  • 1 T unsalted butter or margarine
  • 1 t sugar
  • ½ t salt
  • ¼ t black pepper
  • 2 T chopped fresh mint (or 2 t dried mint leaves)

Directions:

Half fill a large saucepan with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add peas, lower the heat, and cook for 8 minutes or just until tender. Drain well and place in a medium-sized serving bowl, and then stir in all of the remaining ingredients.
